Adoration

Adoration

“You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.”  Luke 4:8 (Deuteronomy 6:13)

Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is time our students spend with Jesus. Adoration is a form of prayer that we pray to express our love for God. Jesus in the consecrated host, the Real Presence of Christ, is placed in a vessel called a monstrance and displayed on the altar. The school’s Fatima Chapel is a place where students, teachers and families gather to pray and adore Jesus. Each grade has a scheduled time weekly to spend in the chapel with Jesus.

“The visit to the Blessed Sacrament is a great treasure of the Catholic faith.” –Pope Saint John Paul II
